BECKY COX, SECRETARY— This person sends out email communications, keeps topics for agendas, maintains calendar of events, keeps minutes, disperses incoming communications to proper Committee Members. This position often becomes the “catch all” for a lot of odd jobs.

MICHELLE CRANE, LEVEL 3 & PREP OPTIONAL— This person is responsible for coordinating with the Regional Prep Optional representative (Claudia Kretschmer) on all questions and rules pertaining to the Prep Optional Program. This person is the advocate for Ohio’s beliefs on rule interpretation for both levels, maintain a database of all teams in Ohio that utilize Level 3 and Prep Optional programs and help to organize competitions of such levels.
PAM HALKER, COMPETITION CHAIRPERSON— This person has a HUGE responsibility of working with each State Meet Director to determine age groups, awards, session times, and team competitions. This person is also responsible for senior awards. This person develops the state bids, receives them, and presents them to the committee for a vote. The Competition Chairperson is allotted the use of a non-voting assistant that is approved by the State Committee.
JILL SKULICH, NAWGJ LIASON— This person is NOT an NAWGJ Board member. This person will be responsible to associate with judges to share ideas and help support the efforts of the Ohio State Committee. This person is essential in securing all state meet judges while working closely with the NAWGJ State Director and NAWGJ members at large.
Amy Nyman, COACH/CLUB LIASON— This person’s responsibility is vast, and over time will be a key person to the State Committee. Currently this person should be the “go to” person for members to ask questions about rules, competitions, and PROFESSIONALISM. This person will be responsible for maintaining membership information on all Ohio Pro and Jr. Pro members to include renewal dates of membership, safety certifications, and background checks. This person will send out reminder notices to Ohio members about renewal so that no one has to be kept off the competitive floor.
SUE KANE, PETITIONS & SCORE TRACKING—This person will be busy during the state meet season with little to do throughout the year. This person will be responsible for all petitions within the state authority. This person will also be working with the website coordinator in helping to maintain all meet results are accurate. This person will also help in maintaining the State Qualifiers page of the website.
GARY TOUSSAINT, WEBSITE COORDINATOR— There will be a major change to this position for 2009-2011 term. The Website Coordinator’s main responsibility will be CONSTANT supervision of the website to make sure all data is up to date, legible, and organized. This person will need to review the site several times a week and communicate with the assistants to add/change pages on the site.
DIANE RENZI, INFORMATION UPDATES— This person will need to dedicate a lot of attention to the website. Updates, adds, and changes are unpredictable so it is necessary to have the capacity to get to the website daily. This person will need a keen eye for detail, design, spelling, and formatting.
KITTIA CARPENTER, COACH EDUCATION COORDINATOR
—This is another brand new position and one that will hopefully take Ohio to the next level. This person will be responsible to help develop the level of gymnastics in Ohio through the development of Ohio camps both at the compulsory and optional levels. This person will coordinate camps, set up locations, and staff for the purpose of sharing knowledge to make Ohio stronger. Support of the judging community will be expected in this endeavor through visits to clubs and participation in these camps.
