Letter From Coaches Education Coordinator

October 10, 2009

Dear Coaches and Club Owners,

I am excited about being elected to the state committee. As coaches’ education coordinator, I hope that I am able to help coaches attain the necessary information so they may reach their individual team goals.

A few ideas to begin is to offer clinics throughout the year for compulsories, optionals, drills for skills & spotting clinics. As an FIG Brevet Judge, JO judge, team director and a team coach, I hope to be able to get information to those coaches that are eager to continue to increase their knowledge in all areas of gymnastics.

The Ohio USAG State Committee is excited to announce the start of our mentor program.
Attached you will find information regarding this new program. (in PDF Format)   (in Excel Format – best for emailing)

Over the Holiday break (end of December) we will be hosting a couple of state clinics and camps. These camps will be for our compulsory gymnasts as well as our Level 7’s and Level 8’s.

More information regarding these camps will be coming soon.

Please contact Kittia Carpenter if you have any questions or ideas!

Thank you,

Kittia Carpenter
