Two Ohioans qualify for the Nastia Liukin Supergirl Cup to be held on March 2, 2012 at Madison Garden Arena, in New York, New York
Ohio gymnasts Sydney McGlone from Universal Gymnasts, Inc in Hilliard won the all-around title at this year's Circle of Stars meet in Indianapolis, Indiana, and Nia Dennis from Buckeye Gymnastics in Westerville won the all-around title at the Buckeye Classic this past weekend in Columbus, Ohio. 
Both meets were designated as Nastia Liukin Supergirl Cup qualifiers, giving these two athletes the privilege to compete for the Nastia Liukin Supergirl title on March 2, 2012.
36 athletes from all over the country are qualifying to the event which will be held at Madison Square Garden, all in hopes of winning the Nastia Liukin Supergirl Cup title. The Nastia Cup is being held the night before the American Cup, thus these athletes will be competing on the podium probably for the first time in their lives.
In 2010 Ohioan, Lexie Priessman from Cincinnati Gymnastics Academy won the overall event.
